Dave’s away this week, apparently too busy to take half an hour to appear on the show. So, while he’s away, Shane dives into the topic of technology and sport. Shane Lowe, a PhD student at NUIG comes on to talk about “The Age of The Virtual Trainer”.

Shane explores what virtual trainers can and can’t do, looks at the products currently on the market and talks about the future of the area, including the role the Kinect and the forthcoming European alternative to GPS, Galileo will play in exercise technology in the years to come.
