Signed Minix 3 CDAndrew S. Tanenbaum (homepage, Wikipedia) is know as the author of MINIX, the educational operating system which inspired Linix.

At FOSDEM ‘10 I sat down with him to talk about Micro-kernels, Embedded systems, and the state of MINIX 3.
