IT Freely, Episode #6 : Dave’s Aventures in London
Due to Dave trekking around the globe, we met over Skype and chatted about his arduous trek through the… erm… London Underground. Cue a discussion about the most indispensable portable devices while travelling and discussions of the various merits and demerits of a phone, versus a netbook, versus a laptop AND a phone. Of course, Dave had to ruin it all by not only missing his flight out of London but also by introducing that quasi-religious debate over which phone should be brought while travelling.
Also, some comments on the U2 gigs in Dublin, which Patrick was lucky enough to go and hear.

Guys, focus. You need a strong talking point for the show, something to hold people’s attention. Do your research before the show, stop musing and wondering about things that you had the opportunity to fact check. Have a main point for each show, and then some smaller side points and have references and news to back them up. Sequester expert people’s opinions on these topics and discuss them.
I’d like to see this get better.
